what do you think are the best spark plugs and wires for a 1987 302 5.0 with few mods

It doesn't really matter. You can get the OE replacement; don't worry about platinum ultra quadra fire or anything.

As far as the wires, I think people around here have said that the Ford Racing wires suck real bad, but other than that just get whatever you want.

i never heard that but thanks, i never really was into the ford racing products anyway. idk y but i just never was. idk y..lol..yeah cause i jsut ordered the new valve covers and the msd distibutor cap and rotor so while im there im going to change the spark plaugs and wires. just was trying to get any knoweldge about what ones are the "best" so to speak.lol

MSD wires and dist. cap and button look clean and give unreal spark.

MSD ALEARDY!!! they probably are the best. I think most of theres are 8.5s and as for plugs they all perform the same. platinum might last longer. Any brand really. I just have platinum autolites.
