1980 mustang vacuum leak
This thing is driving me crazy!!!!! Ok so here's what's going on 80 mustang notch 200 i6 with a vacuum leak that's driving me apes!It appears to be coming from somewhe under the dash,it will cause the car to run lean which will cause the car to overheat .I can pull the vacum off that seems to open my heat/ac vents&cap it&it goes away. But that's on temporary.Plus then nothing will blow out the vents I've pulled the dash&couldn't seem to find a thing.Ive used a hose&my stethascope, carb cleaner etc¬hing. On my air breather there's two vacuum lines on the bottom one goes to the side of the Breather the other one I have no idea,do you? Also at the bottom of the heater core there's a hose that come through the firewall any idea what its for?Does it hook up to anything? Should I pull the heater core?Id appreciate any help thanx.
