help wont start

alright i just did a tune up, new plugs wires thats all, just waiting for the disributor cap. anyway to the point after all it is said and dont i go to start and it starts then while it was started i began to adjust the idle then it stalls. now i cant seem to get it started, i checked the fuel line going to the carb and its not getting any fuel. i was guessing the filter, but i also have an electric fuel pump. im just really confused and pissed. did changing the idle cause any problem? or is it jsut something else.

could be the fuel pump itself if you have higher miles on your vehicle. It was probably pretty clogged to begin with and messing with the idle may have done it in. or it could be a coincidence that it happened while you were adjusting idle.

yeah cause while i was adjusting the idle it began to stall then wouldnt start again. i was under the impression it was the filter, but it adjusting idle can mess up the pump ill check that out too.

I don't think adjusting the idle in itself would mess up the fuel pump. But if it was on the fritz before....

I know you said it's carb, but what year is it? Was it a carb conversion?

Did the fuel pump always start when you turn the ignition on? Does it do that anymore?
