QUESTION ABOUT INSTALLATION

Hey this is not fastback71 this is his friend. I have an 06 gt stock. I just ordered a pypes off road h pipe and flowmaster axel back.. I also have a bbk cold air intake, it is not tuned but i have a sct xcalibrator 2 that i just ordered but it is not tuned for the exhaust, i did not put it on the car yet. My question is, how hard is it to install this stuff?? i have acess to a lift, but only for about 2 hours, do you think i could get this thing done in 2 hours? And then ill have an off road h and flowmasters, and a cold air intake with NO tune, will my engine go kaboom? i can get it to mustang magic for a tune but it will be a little while, and precautions??? any ideas or anything thanks a lot guys

you could install that exhaust in like a half hour.Does the BBK cai require a tune?

I don't know your mechanic skills, but theoretically you can do it in that time. No you don't need a tune for those mods. It'd be a waste of money. Just use the canned tune on the SCT for now. You won't feel much of a diference, but you aren't that modded either. Save the tune for after bigger mods.

Not that I know of. I believe they are a standard part of the tuner, but I'm not sure. I have a diablosport predator. Why would you want to?

because i have a canned cai tune.. and i just ordered a brenspeed cai and offroad and muffler tune, i ordered it because for the same price i could have gotten MIL eliminators which i needed anyways or i could just get a tune which will make my car healthier and faster.

So now i have one slot left.. what happens when i get more stuff?? can brenspeed edit their original tune?

If you are changing your tune to the CAI & O/R mid pipe and exhaust tune why do you need to keep the first canned tune you bought?

He wants to delete the stock tunes that come on the tuner when you buy it. You can delete those?

You can order it without any tunes at all but then you will have to be pretty knowledgeable about tuning to be able to tune it.

I did not know that. I'm pretty sure the ones on my predator are permenant parts of the tuner's program. GF you're just full of all kinds of good info. LOL

lol just stuff I have learned over time from other people and my own screw ups. But the tunes on the x-cal can be replaced if you get a new tune, the only one it won't let you erase is the stock tune it pulls off your car the first time you tune it.

If you return your car to stock it should delete itself.

why delete it you can hold 3 and your stock tune. If you get three and then get a new one just overwrite your least favorite tune.

I just got my new CAI They didn't have any instructions with them. Anyone out there that ca help me I need a set of instructions or just a little bit of help. I have a mechanic coming over to put it in. I'm disabled and can't do it myself. My mechanic is also my son-in-law. Thanks
