K&N VS. Water

Can there be problems if water gets on the filter? I don't mean drive around with it exposed, just water splashing onto it every once in a while.

Depends on how much, if you are talking about the average everyday puddle that you have to drive through in the rain to get to work then your car is going to be just fine.

But if you are trying to be a truck and your going through huge bogs with your car you are going to have problems.

But remember, if you live in an area where there is a lot of rain you need to clean and oil the filter every 8-10 months rather then every 12.

AEM makes a by-pass valve that will help keep water out of you throttle body. I had one on my old prelude and on rainy day's it helped alot. you can get one for around $50 or so.
