Ok...

Dealing with just Centri's and Twin Screw Style blowers ( internal compression blowers ).. a Centri is more Thermally Efficient than a twin screw , even though a twin screw in the realm of things is considered themerally efficient ...

When you force air into an engine through the use of a supercharger, air molecules are pushed together and cause added friction, which in turn increases air temperature. The temperature of this air is important because as we all know, cooler, denser air helps to create more power, so thermal efficiency is key.

Since the compression is done internally, the twin screws and centri's produce less heat than roots style blowers .. but the centri still comes out on top

Wow did you come up with that on your own? I understand how it works. Twin screw wins in regards to charge air being cooler because it is a HIGH VOLUME SYSTEM, all three move air, but they do it under a different principle one is positive displacement the centri means centrifugal if you need it spelled out. The Centri has a larger curve but because the air is actually COMPRESSED through a VOLUTE by means of an IMPELLER from a small area to a large area there is MORE heat produced. HOWEVER the centrifugal will produce a lot more boost and power for the money in the end. Now you and your peanut gallery use the same rope to hang yourselves with.

It is actually that process of the air traveling through the impeller into the area that goes from small to large that makes the centri more thermally efficient and allows it to produce less heat on output than the twin screw ... this is because the centri turns more of that heat into engery therefore less heat is given off as waste ...

and that leads to the centrifugal blower giving you better gas mileage !!

I don't really care anymore, I am not supercharging anymore anyways. My guess is that neither of you have ever done it, just spend a lot of time Google'ing and stirring up crap. Arguing on here makes no sense. I will be the bigger man and let it go.
