Convertible Top Reviews

It's time to replace my top and I'm looking at many different options. I'm definitely going with the Canvas Top, but I'm torn between suppliers.

I've searched the forums and find little CURRENT information for top replacements, experiences, etc.

I'm currently looking at "topsonline.com" and "autotopsdirect.com" but am interested in knowing if anyone has purchased from either of these companies. Was the fitment and quality good, etc. Any comments you may have a appreciated.

Also, I will be going with a professional install so I don't need any comments to that.

BTW: topsonline uses "EZ ON AUTO TOPS" as their supplier for my vehicle.

get the cobra version they are better tops from what i hear

Yeah, from my understanding.. the Cobra version is just a Canvas version..
Canvas came standard on the Cobra vs. Vinyl on the others, at least that's my understanding. Do you understand it differently?

Canvas came on my v6 from factory not vynil

Hmmm.. maybe it was a dealer ordered upgrade. Can you tell a noticeable difference between other vinyl tops?

I am not going to comment about the retailers, however I will comment that EZ-On makes a very good top and is the preferred brand for many installers.

canvas came on all verts except the 03/04 cobra, which is cloth

Vinyl came on all verts except 03/04 Cobra, which is Canvas. Canvas is the "cloth type".
