Possible Upgrades in My Future.. need Opinions and Expertise

Alright.. first off, its been a while since I've been to the forums. So a hello to all those I haven't seen in a while. Secondly, I'm planning on scratching all the plans I have carefully developed over the past several months. I'm mainly doing this because I want to get a Stang with a manual transmission because I need to be able to efficiently drive a manual before I get the big promotion at my night job when I turn 21 (it will then be my day job/only job, haha) and also because ive been calculating costs of it all and itd be way more than id be willing to shell out for mediocre performance out of my 02 sixer.. ne way.. ive been looking around at new edge gts and new 07 stangs..
I love the idea of driving a new vehicle and being the first person to actually call it their own. A new 07 v6 is definitely in my price range but itd take some time and searching to find a new GT that i could afford.. First few things I want to know, what would a premium 07 sixer have that a new edge gt wouldnt (minus the sweet interior and six cylinder engine). Also, what kinda modifications can be done that wouldnt void the warrant.. or could I have the dealership do it before I took delivery of the vehicle? If the dealership can put dual exhaust, traclok and gears, and factor it into the price i could afford it because im going to eliminate the negative equity I have on my car by selling it out right. Any and all suggestions, opinions, ideas, expertise is appreciated, lol. If nething is rambled and unclear, let me know and I'll further explain. Thanks, everyone.

You'll get some good help here in the GT section, but go with the GT IMO if you can afford it but if you want a new car get the 6

do u know what kind of mods void the warranty? also, if i ran small boost from a s/c or t/c how close could i get to 300 safely on stock internals if i got the 6? (this poweradder would be way in the future since i dont want all of my money going to the car, lol

**edit.. well at least not at this moment cuz i wouldnt make enough to afford it till i get that promotion at 21

A lot will void the warranty anything to the engine other than a CAI or pulleys and they may not allow pulleys, and if you remove the cats that will void warranty. You best bet on that is ask the dealership. Also you could see 280-300 on stock internals for a short while 9psi is as high as I would run it and I'm not sure on the 05+ I haven't seen any 6s with power adders personally.

so what is ur job??? just dont boost over around 8 or 9 psi and ur internals should be fine, but its always safer to get forged stuff eventually
