Why do you need to lower the engine?

I want to so I can put my manifold spacer on WITH my windstar and not have to buy a new hood.

The K-member can be spaced down from the body, but that is going to effect your ride height and geometry.

I lowered my engine 3/4" by replacing the stock motor mounts with mounts I made myself. They are very close to the mount made by Prothan but 3/4" lower. I believe Prothan either makes them lowered too or can. Lowering the Prothan mounts is easy anybody with a lathe can do it.

These are the ones I made to original height before I shortened them 3/4".
