Wider Tires?

I need some new rear tires. For some strange reason... they seem to have a lot less tread than the front.

I know that rotating is always an option.. however I want to try to keep what I have for now for the winter.... or I may have to get new ones...

But, I am planning on getting 4.10s and tlok for my 05 v6 mustang around christmas time.

I would like to get some wider than stock tires without having to change rim size.... is that possible? If so, what are some not cheap but not really expensive tires that I could go with?

Sorry, I know nothing really about tire sizing.

I suggest you to buy GoodYear company tyres for rear wheels.
