I have LM1s and O/R H and I love the way they sound. I use to have Flowmaster 40's and hated them only cause it sounded like ALL other Mustangs out there.

LM1s and O/R H sound great and everyone else on the road thinks so too.

If you are dead set on SLP you may want to get the SLP LM 2 not 1. The SLP LM 1 is louder, but the LM 2 has better sound quality. Personally I'd go with magnapacks, but I'm a little biased because I got my packs installed last Tuesday. If you are looking for a good mid pipe for the SLP go with a Mac Pro-chamber.

The prochamber is kind of the best of both worlds. It gives you the deeper tone of the H pipe and you don't get the slight loss of low end torque of a X pipe, but you do get a good flow like a X pipe.

I just installed both on my 99 GT yesterday morning. I love them, they are the loudest thing I've personally heard on a mustang. They are a tad raspy at times, but I think it sounds great.

SLP LM 1 are about the loudest you can get, but louder isn't necessarily better.
