cheap lowering springs question

Hey guys, I dont really have 250-300 to spend on a good set of lowering springs right now so i was messing around on ebay and came across these..I know the whole "you get what you pay for thing", but i dont know anything about suspension at all. My question is, is there that much of a difference between something like this and the more expensive springs? Should i steer clear and save some cash, or pull the trigger on the cheap ones because it wont be a huge difference? thanks

Hmmm . . . well, sometimes you are just paying for the NAME, however, I don't know much about suspension, yet.

I worry about the fact that they list it working for all years and trims of the mustang from 94-04. There's no way they can tell you how much it's going to drop the ride height with that many variables involved.

If it drops the v6 2" then it's going to drop your GT even more.
If it drops the Cobra 2" then it's not going to drop yours enough.

and who knows about the spring rates and how it could mess up the handling.

Maybe you could have a shop cut your stock springs.

I wouldn't worry too much, I installed mine and they gave about a 2" drop front and rear which is what I was looking for. I wouldn't pay to cut the factory springs most factory springs aren't set up for all out handling, they have to figure in comfy ride quality. Just pony up the $200 for new springs.
