Supercharger belt tension correct??
How tight should a supercharger belt be? I have a Vortech V3 on my 87 GT 5 speed, and pulled the bracket as hard as I could with one hand while tightening it in place. Belt goes from the blower to around the double pulley crank and is tightened by a tensioner pulley in the middle. Is this tension correct, too tight, too loose???? I didn't use any prybars or anything like that. Couldn't find anything in the instructions that came with it saying 1/8" deflection, as tight as you can, ... ,etc. Thanks.

Sounds about right, if anything on the loose side.
You really want them to be tight but not so tight that they're going to create a ton of heat and shread themselves. When I replaced mine on my supercharged v6 it took two people and is very tight. No problems after 10k miles and it still looks like new.
