Rich, high idel, glowing headers.

it is a 1994 5.0

Ok, my Cobra is almost on it's feet so to speak. The only problem left is that it is ideling around 18k rpm and it is running really rich, you can smell it and the headers are glowing orange after i let it run for a few. This is why I love SFI (sequestial fuel injection.)

I have been stuck with this for a while and was wondering if any one might know anything at all... really.

Here are things that I have thuroughly tested and I am positive are not the problem... MAF, EGR, TPS, O2s are good, cats are new, no vacum leaks, good back pressure, injectors are fine, no fuel leaks, pleanty of good clean gas, check valves are good...

Other than this stuff what on earth could it be?

sorry, 1,800rpm and i found the prob...
It was the EGR vacuum pressure regulator solinoid.
To everyone else these 94-95 Cobras were kind of a frainkenstien deal.
