Is the body skewed?

I don't have close-up pics to show this yet, but... looking at the driver's side post next to the windshield when compared to the fender, the fender is misaligned by 1/4 inch (not flush, it's left of where it should be). Inside, the whole dash appears to be shifted by about the same about, judging by where it meets the door panels inside (too much gap on one side, and about 3/8 inch less of a gap on the passenger side. It was in a front end collision years ago... also the drivers door doesn't quite line up with the striker, the door meets about 1/4 to 3/8 inch too low. I think that these are indications the frame is not straight (I know for sure the frame under the bumper is too low and needs to be straightened...) are these expensive things to get fixed (assuming it's just the frame)? Should I just shim things somehow to get them to line up, instead?
