NEED HELP FAST!!!!

I went to start my car and noticed that the oil pressure guage was in the red on the low side. Then the car warmed up and it went up and stood there as normal. I was driving a while and it was normal. Then I stopped at a red light and it was idleing hard but the pressure was normal. I know that Ford use a guage that tell if it either has or doesnt have oil pressure.

What can be the problem Im not low on oil and I just changed it about 500 miles ago. I used AMS 0w20 oil and filter. Now every time I start the car its the same thing. I have low oil pressure when engine is cold but normal when engine is at normal temp.

Is it my oil pump going bad or is it the oil I am using?

You probably washed all the crap in your engine down to the pickup tube and plugged it. The 4.6's are very picky on oil. If you used to use or the person before you used Penzoil and you put a good detergent type oil in then you end up washing all of the crap into the pickeup and cloging it.
Stop diving it and check the oil pressure with a gauge at the filter and see what it really is. If you really do have an oil pressure problem then pull the pan and clean out the pick up tube.
