New guy here power adder for 1997 4.6
Well i was hoping to find a definative answer to putting pi cams and intake on my non pi 97 4x4 f150 4.6. I heard somewhere that some ppl used rtv to make a good seal with the pi intake and also ran PI cams came out with a total of like 30rwhp?? I kno i could do a whole head swap and increase my compression, with a good set of aftermarket cams i could see a pretty darn good gain but im not rlyu wanting to do all that and don't rly wanna have to run 93 all hte time. I know some years on the mustang it would work and some of the earlier years the pi cams would bend the valve train?? Mines a F150 Windsor 4.6, will it take the PI cams alright if anyone knows? Im just trying to do this cheap, pick up a little extra hp and torque for under 200 bucks... Right now i'm running 35's on stock rims, stock height truck. I have a cheap tuner, Cold air, longtube's/magnaflow highflows, Auburn locker, and 4.88's both axles. Just not rly wanting to do a whole head swap but always gotta be doing something to her. Plus i heard the NPI heads can flow just as good or better with a port and polish? Anyway so what do you guys think..suggestions?

Doesn anyone know? Are they the same heads/cams as the 97 mustang gt had?

Pretty sure you could find the info you want on their website by application. As far as cheap horse power goes, sounds like you're pretty close to maxing that stuff out.
