trouble starting

I have been having troubles starting my car, since i've got it actually. All parts were installed at a shop in cali. list is in pro.

I have a kenne bell boost-a-pump installed as well, thing is when i turn the key to start the car, i give it a quick second so i can here the pump turn on then i start her up. "most" of the time it starts right up. BUT sometimes whether its hot or cold it won't start. Its cranking but wont start up. pretty gay, and always seems to happen when out in public!

Any suggestions what it could possibly be, bad/loose wiring?

Need to put fuel pressure tester on the test port on the fuel rail and see when it does it's no start if you have proper fuel pressure, 55-60psi I believe KOEO and 45-55psi KOEO. If you have good fuel pressure you may have an injector leaking down as it sits and loosing fuel pressure, if it's loosing it into a cylinder(s) then putting the pedal to the foor as you crank it till it fires and then quickly backing out of it once it does fire off should get it started fine.
