Please Recommend Good Cam for my 5.0

1988 Mustang GT 302L 5.0

Please don't ask me question after question after question. Please recomend a good racing/street cam to go with that will add power plus that "Clunk clunk...clunk clunk...clunk clunk" noise I like that strong lift sound. All of this measuring stuff and determing what this and that is, is out of the question. I don't have the money to be wasting on someone to look and determine. If the cam don't work I can always exchange it.

So guys please tell me what good cam to go with. I'd like to go with something that does have a high lift. Now all dureation and stuff who cares I will find that out, I just want a cam.

Thanks

Questions need to be answered. Without information you can't pick a cam and expect it to perform. Do you have stock or aftermarket heads? Manual or automatic transmission? What rear end gears?

Leave the stock cam alone. If you really are stuck on changing the cam pick something really mild with around .480 lift and 216 to 220 duration at .050. I'd change gears before I'd even think about changing the cam. You will need to change your valve springs if you change your cam too.....to do the job right anyway. You might be able to get by with your stock springs but I can guarantee the spring pressure will not be correct for the new cam and coil bind might be an issue as well.
