exhaust question that isn't like the 9 million others.


Does anyone know where to get a cheap electric cut outs. while Im at it do any of you know from expperience of problems with the electric ones?

I have flowmasters for when I want to sound nice, and the cutouts will be for when I need some extra hp.

+1 for summit ... kinda they have cheap manual ones but they carry one electric and its bout $300 for a duall 2.5" - 3" pip set up... in my opinion ... THATS just NUTz!

^^^ I'm with them. Summit, you could also look at some of the off road type sites, i know some off roaders ran them in their jeeps.

I beleive jegs is slightly cheaper then summit, and guarnteed 1-2 day deleivery, summit might do that to but im not sure

ummm... that doesn't count because it was in a completely unrelated forum that only certain ppl read because they're not the proud owners of a v6. I've seen this site already. the cut-outs are cheap but the electric parts are expensive.

those are expensive, Jegs has the highest prices I've seen so far. Its not that I can't find the electric ones, I just don't want to spend my tuition money on them.

i know a guy who has em on his trans am and theywerent working when he showed me his car. he said that he had to get new ones.

usually they mount after the cats and before the mufflers. I was told that on the v6 as long as you have the cats there would be enough back pressure.
