Well i was driving down the ave a few days ago during the rain when all of a sudden i hit a river of a puddle. My car shut off and wouldnt start forcing me to push it home in the pouring rain. So after a day or 2 the car still wouldn't start which leaves me to ask now WHAT THE HELL could i do?!? I'm planning on going to the mechanic Monday but for now is there anything i could do? Did i destroy my car?

The engine sounds like it wants to turn over but it won't. My intake filter is soaked and all around by my pulleys are still soaked. Please if there is any info someone can give i'd appreciate it!

pull the plugs and see if the engine will turn over. if u have a 1/2" ratchet and socket that fits the crank pulley bolt use it to turn the engine clockwise and rem to put the car in neutral. if u dont have the tools then unplug the coil or coils if its a gt and bump the key gently just enough for the starter to kick the engine. (if it doesnt try taking the belt off. a locked ac compressor can seem like a locked motor.) this is just a guess but it sounds like water was sucked into the engine and water doesnt compress. do u have a CAI that goes into the fenderwell? hopefully it didnt try to compress and crack something.
