QUESTION! (oil i think)

so its been about 4500 miles since i changed my oil.. iknow, overdue..
would this explain why , when starting my car, the rpm shoots kinda higher (higher than usual)..

Nope. And if your running a quality oil 5000 miles is fine. The days of the 3000 mile oil change are over. If you change it more than that you are just throwing away money. Oil has nothing to do with your problem

I would start by checking all your vacuum hoses. Check the hoses connected to your throttle body. Does it do this randomly while the car is running? Mine has for quite some time... its just never been bad enough for me to worry with.
