The Lincoln rear end will fit and bolt right in. However it is about 3/4 of an inch longer on each side so you are going to need different offset wheels. You might be able to get away with factory wheels but they might rub when you hit bumps or turn. Its hard to say with out trying them out because there are so many other variables. The spindles might bolt in too so you can convert the front to 5 lug right away. The rotors will work with V8 Mustang spindles but not the 4 cylinder spindles. But I think the Lincoln spindles are the same as the V8 Mustang spindles.

Um no. The T-Bird TC will bolt right in. The Lincoln rear used an air bag suspension and needs mods to remove the air bag mounts. Can be done just a PITA. I'm running a TC rear, I rolled the fenders and can only run 245's on the back. The disk brakes are a nice tough but matching all the brake lines was also an issue they all seam to be differrent thread sizes. You also wil have to get a PV for the rears.

If I did it again I would have rebuilt my 8.8 and put the TC brakes on it. We live we learn.

The bag mounts are on the lower control arms Mike. At least on a 90 LSC they are. I owned one........with a big block.

They might be different over the years. I have experience with a 90 LSC and don't know for sure what the other Lincolns used for a rear set up. I know we slid the rear end out of my car and stuffed it in my friends LX and it bolted right in. The only issue he had was the length.
