Throttle Delay issue.. please help!

pretty much ever since ive had my stang.. over a year now, ive noticed that i have some noticable throttle delay, usually when i punch the gas, there's a very noticable second delay for the car to accelerate.. any advice on what this might be? thanks guys (would you recomment a new throttle body>)

Perhaps just try cleaning the throttle body first with some carb/throttle body cleaner. I had some throttle/idle issues and then cleaned my IAC and that fixed it. I'd clean them first.
