howdy!!
i have a 1993 mustang gt (stick shift) and a 1991 lx mustang (automatic). i want to put the stick shift into the lx but i was thinking and i thought about how the cpu controls the shifts for the auto so what all would i have to do with electrical stuff to get this to work?

i know how to put it in and everything just need to know the tiny details that are a hassel like the cpu's, wireing, clutch and clutch cables? please help i really want to do this.

I didn't think the shifts are controlled by the cpu at all
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here. If you have a complete car to pick parts off that's half the battle right there. At least you know you have everything you need.
When you install the clutch assembly look for two wires with a factory loop installed.
Pull out the loop and it will plug right in the safety neutral switch that's on the clutch
pedal assembly. And the harness off the stick shift transmission should snap right in
place on the car your converting. Good luck!
