Won't Start..?

Just got a 2006 gt, it had been in storage for a few years and the previous owner had mothballs in it so the smell is still lingering. So last night i parked it in the garage, opened it up and had a fan on it. But I did disconnect the positive battery cable so it wouldn't be dead. Just now I reconnected everything and right away heard a clicking noise under the passenger side of the dash, almost sounds like a turn signal? But the car will not start, I tried jumping it, didn't do anything. And it's not even making the "clicking" noise like it would if the battery were dead.

Still not sure what the problem was. But after having it hooked back up and sitting for an hour or so, it started right up. Is there a certain way you're supposed to unhook the battery?

AS far as the battery go's you should always unhook the negative first and last when reconnecting the battery its much safer for the majority of the electronics that are on modern cars, when you reconnected it might have taken them a minute to reset. As far as the clicking sound under the passenger side of the dash my best guess is it might have been the ECM though that is just a guess.
