Engine stand

I have my engine pulled and want to do a few things before I put it back in the car. The engine hoist is not mine, I want to get it back to the owner.

I don't want to buy an engine stand if I don't have to...

Any ideas..............................

Thanks,

Robert

An engine stand is only like $30 or $40, you could I suppose set it on the floor with blocks of wood under it to keep it off the oil pan.

Guy from work said just tilt it back on the crank.

Yes a engine stand is $50, but why buy one if you only need it once.

Some of us are on a budget, with a Mortgage, kids, wife, x wife
