yes. now today i went the dealership. apparently they say i have a leaking rear main seal and lower intake gasket. fuck me. they said around $1600 to repair seeing as how its a very labor intensive job. i don't have that kind of money so i went to my mechanic and he said they were asking too much. any advice?!

Clean off as much oil as you can and check it in a day or two to see if you can find the leak. They say its leaking at both the rear intake and rear main? Id be suspicious of that right off the bat. It could be just the intake leaking and the oil is making its way down to the main seal making it appear as if its leaking to when it might not be. It could be, but some shops will try to play you on that.

Clean the oil off and check in a day or two before paying a shop to do anything.

yeh the dealerships call anything they can for business. im going to keep a close eye on it, and it really can't be both... its got to be either one or the other, the only problem is it's ALOT of work to get the either one..

rear main isnt hard to get too if you pull the tranny....yeah pulling the tranny might be shitty but having a bill for $15 for seals vs $1600 for some stealership to violate your pride and joy should put a smile back on your face
