exhaust tips for V6?
A friend of mine just bought an 03 V6 and would like to get a deeper sound from the exhaust. Can he acheive this with only a tip (hp is not an issue)? If so what is the best brand for fitment, looks , etc.? Any help would be much appreciated!

The answer is no! On a dual exhaust cat back the tips can affect the tone of the exhaust, but on a V6 I don't see it making a difference. Tell him to get a Mac cat back and a O/R H pipe for a V6 and that is about as good as it will get for a V6 without LT headers and a more aggrresive cam.
