question for the drag racers
why is it that IRS is bad for drag racing?
im not exactly a suspension expert if you cant tell

Good answer, wheel hop is horrible if it is not accounted for and adjusted for. IRS was not originally intended for drag racing, it was designed to give suspension response at all four corners for intense road racing. But it can be used for drag racing if you do some research on suspension geometry and adjust. I have seen a ton of 10 and sub 10 second IRS cars.

thats why alot of cobra guys have been taking theres out and selling it to street fox cars
