performance shop doesnt know the answer???
so my 05 mustang gt is in the shop. just installed 60lb injectors, colder spark plugs and a GT500 dual fuel pump system to push/handle more power. they're telling me that when they start the engine it runs for 15 seconds and just dies out. they know its running really rich but dont know why. theyve checked everything from changing out the injectors/plugs/maf sensor, checked the wiring, etc. they also said something about how the MAF sensor is reading that its 1/2 throttle when the engine starts and runs at idle, therefore pushing more fuel than the air being taken in. they arent sure if its a bad MAF because they swapped it out with another and its still encountering the same problem. any solutions or answers? thanks.
edit- theyve also flashed it back to the manufacture tune, and also back to the basic can tune from procharger.
a little heads up on some of the engine work. built bottom end (je pistons, rods, studs, bearings, gaskets, new oem crankshaft) procharger p1sc1(10psi) fuel system (60lb injectors, fuel rails/lines, GT500 dual fuel pumps)
