Sodium Silicate
I was told I have a blown head gasket. There is no oil in my coolant or vise versa. The ONLY symptom I have is bubbles coming out my radiator. Not foam, just blub, blub, every second or so. its a 96 3.8 and that fact made everyone say "yeah, definitely a head gasket." So this guy swears by sodium silicate in the radiator will fix it. Says he has a car that's had it in there for 5+ years and still no problems. Bought some at a pharmacy and was told to use the whole pint jar. also known as water glass. anybody have any experience with this stuff?

I never heard about that but I wouldn't try it. Iv worked in the automotive idustry for five years and I think imwould have heard about it if was a good remedy. But if ur serious convinced it's blown then just buy blue devil head gasket repair. But like 5.8mustang said about that stuff, blue devil will also build up in the coolant passages. But before u do anything I would do a compression test.
