Question About 40's + this price range
So I went to my local exhaust shop.. and he said he would put on a custom H-Pipe/True Dual-Exhaust... but this is what got me. I asked him how much would all that be with Flowmaster 40 series.. he said well it'll be $375 with the flowmasters or $275 with the same model but not the flowmasters.
He said they stopped making the patent and the numbers on the two types ( which are basically the same in every way, just they're not flowmasters brand ) is the numbers. One of the numbers is off which he said probably the person who patented or w/e left the company and this is why is the same type everything just not flowmaster and off one number. Should I go with the 100 dollar cheaper version? or go with the originals.. and is this a good price range for a exhaust system.. I mean from everything Ive seen on good lookin & sounding cars the system goes up in the 800 range.. but this is only arund 300-400 bucks.. is this ok to be able to get a good sounding system? |
