85 gt quad shocks

Hey Guys, I have a 85 gt and want to replace the quad shocks. I need some help. Are they really called quad shocks and what do you recommend I buy? My car has some came and I upgrated the motor for more horse power. I would appreciate any help

The quad shocks are the little shocks on the rear and their there to reduce wheelhop. If you replace your weak factory lower control arms you won't have any need for them and can just remove them. They really don't do much at all.

QUAD SHOCKS

Thanks for the advise on the quad shocks. How difficult is it to replace the lower arms? Can I do this? Do you recommend a brand to buy. Sorry for the questions.

It's a piece of cake to change the lowers, and you'll get better traction for it too. They're a bunch of companies making control arms, by the sounds of it you don't need anything fancy or adjustable, I bought upper and lower control arms from Blue Oval Industries on eBay. They perform great and are very inexpensive (I think I paid $150 for both upper and lower).
