Best way to clean plugs


Car was running rich and my plugs are pretty nasty. What is the best way to clean the spark plugs? Can I use the wire wheel on my grinder?

Best way to clean plugs is just buy new ones. They really arent that expensive.

Plugs are $70. That's expensive when they only have 14k miles

$70? Do '05+ require iridium or platinum or some fancy plugs? Because I just put platinum's in mine for about $25. If you won't get new plugs, keep reading:

Do NOT use the wire wheel on your grinder!

You can TRY using electronic contact cleaner and wiping it off with a cloth, but make sure you have the correct gap as well. Should be able to get it at any parts store:
