Tallest tire height on lowered car

hey Guys/Gals

Need any input on people who put taller tires on lowered mustangs.

I'm looking to put on 235/55/17 tires on my B spring'd mustang

as of now with my 275/40/17 it sits at a total of 8.66 inches
with 235/55/17 it will be 10.16

will that 1.5 inches of tire in the front be too much? it should fit fine...just curious on other peoples real life input who have done this. ik the rear is fine.

my friend has that size on his '02 GT...has eibach sportlines....he rubs alot and hates them but they came on the car so he's waiting on them to wear out until he spends money on a new set

sportlines lower 1.8inches, B springs 1.25 inches... hmm..maybe ill squeeze by
