as the title says anybody got a laser jammer?? me and some friends are thinking about getting one and wondering if anybody has them on here! let me know thanks guys!

I have a buddy that has one on his vett. Theyre nice, but if you have the 9500ix from escort plus this laser jammer would be a good combination with the laser jammer youll jam the laser and youll have maybe 2 seconds to slow down before getting pulled over. Happend to him twice police were like why couldnt I detect you.

What state is he in? Cause in Ohio laser jammers are legal I believe. and what did police say? Any tickets for it?

California, yeah theyre legal it just draws out attention thats all. I don't think he got a ticket from what I remember, he got a warning. Police said that why couldn't I detect you. He told him that he had a laser jammer. He did that cuz he had a guilty feeling. But theyre actually illegal in Cali. heres a link.

They would probably issue a ticket and say that they saw you going too fast. In Ohio they don't have to actually tag you w/ any sort of device. I believe it was last year where they passed a law that stated they can see you speeding (with their calibrated eye) and issue a ticket.

So even if you had a laser jammer, they can still give you a ticket.

yeah i think ive heard of people getting a ticket that way or they will give you wreckless op as well

My buddy has a Laser Interceptor and Valentine V1....such a good combo. What he does when he's getting shot is , rip the e-brake, slow down a to a non-ticketable speed, then turn the laser jammer off, so they can actually get a reading and BAM no tickets. :]

he rips the e-brake...? why? if hes getting gunned from the front why wouldnt he just get on the regular brakes? Plus, if he yanks on the e-brake, isnt he going to break traction....

Because at night you can see the person hitting the brakes (which would give away that you know you're getting hit)....so you rip the e-brake and no taillights lighting up.

and also, you can see weight transfer when you slam the front brakes, when you pull the e-brake, it doesnt show it as bad.

and no...i didnt mean all the way, "rip" was more of a figurative term than anything.

yup got a ticket for an estimated speed. aparently if you try to fight it the cop can go in and show the judge his "certification" saying he has been trained to tell speed within 3mph or something. i just had my friend, the DA take care of it tho
