Hey Zach Give this thread a try it discusses alot about deleting the egr Help me with my EGR delete. And to also help answer your question, I dont belive there will be any noticable power loss or gains. This mod is generally used to clean up the engine bay.

Its doesn't 'heat' the air. Thats just a by-product of EGR (so I guess it does heat the air...but you get what Im getting at) Its not like the old Carb setups and have a tube on the exhaust manifold to help warm the air going in on first start up.

EGR is just that. Exhaust Gas Recirculation. To help with emissions. If you can delete it in your tune, go for it. It shouldn't effect your MPG or HP much if any. Just mainly to clean stuff up like SnakeHorse said.
