Do it right and run 2x3 .083 thickness square tubing thru the floor. Those bolt on/weld on frame connectors that connect on the bottom side do nothing for you at all besides add weight and look hideous.

I'd like to know a little more about subframe connectors. What exactly is their purpose, other than connecting the subframe. How does adding a subframe connector affect the overall driving experience on a mustang? I drive a 99 mustang GT, and I drive it pretty hard. Would subframe connectors be something I should look into?

Subframe connectors should be one of the first things people do to their cars.

Mustang frames are hideously weak, and twist and move like pretzels. Once you have a set welded in, driving is night and day. You'll notice right away - drive down a bumpy road and you'll see what I mean.
