misfire....

Ok, after solving an electrical issue, the car has run fine. new wires, coil, cap and rotor, and aulite dp plugs...screwed up on a 3-4 upshift the other day and went 3-2 at 6k (imagine what second was... )...since then the car misfires after about 1k rpms up to around 4 or so that i know of. Plugs look super clean...whats failing? or what is the comp. telling it to do that it misfires?

Is the check engine light burned out? I've owned a few Mustangs that pulled codes but never had a check engine light on.

ck engine light illuminates...previous reply stated obd1 systems do NOT illuminate the ck eng. lite for misfire codes...

Does anyone know much about the autolite double platinum plugs? are they any good?

I am well aware how an obd1 system functions. I wasn't asking if it had a misfire code. I was asking if it had ANY CODES. I had a bad mass air flow sensor cause a misfire in a 91 GT. The check engine light wasn't on but when I scanned it there was a code. So again, are there any codes?

Platinum plugs suck.

scanner will not correct, and as previous attempts through the multimeter...will not indicate any codes at all...not even an all ok code
