which supercharger?

Im new to the forum and i was wondering if there was anyone that could help me. i have an 03 gt vert. im going to supercharge when i return from iraq. the car wont see the track much i just want a fun street car. with my budget i can get the mph mongoose kit, or the kb non/ic 2.1. i have read alot of posts about both, but never heard of anyone getting the kb non/ic. i know everone always says to get the kb 9psi, but i will have a new baby when i get home so it is now or never. so my questions are, has anyone used the kb non/ic, will i have a problem with the temp of the car with it being non/ic? also my friend has the 1.7 and i love the sound of it, is the 2.1 the same or is it silent? I will be happy with 350-375 hp, can i get that out of the kb 6psi kit? I have bbk l/t's xpipe mac mufflers, 70mm acufab t/b. Thanks.

Dont go with the non-intercooled kit...You will regret it later...

I run a mongoose kit myself...I have the Vortech T-Trim...

I love mine...My car is a DD and I dont have any issues with it...There are also alot of people over on Modular Powerhouse running KB's on DD's as well...

Also keep your head down...

You said you were in Iraq...I got back from there 4 months ago...I was telling you to be safe...

I would personally go with the Novi 2000 mongoose kit...Its like $400 more then the T-Trim and worth every penny...The pulleys and such you want to talk over with Tim...A mongoose kit comes with everything you need and then some to have your kit working and everything...You can buy the MPH Powerpipe for $199 and can add that into your mongoose kit...

The KB NON-IC kit is ok...But really I would go ahead and get the intercooled version...

I would gow ith the Novi...But the KB has instant power all the time...The Novi or T-trim have to spool like a turbo (Superchargers use a belt rather then exhaust gases...)
