Help! (Overheated And Not Running Right)

i have a 94 5.0 8 cylinder... the car over heated about a year ago and hasnt run the same since. First i thought it was the trans because it would shake uncontrolably whenever it was started and idled. 4 mechanics have lookd at the car and no one seems to know what's wrong with it. The last mechanic said it was the firing order so he changed that up, i change the cap and rotar. Now the dam thing is even more messed up, no more shaking, but now it just doesnt move... someone PLEASE HELP!!!
