Are you using shorty or LT headers?
Are you talking about Flowmaster 40s? If you are going with Flows you should consider a H pipe or a prochamber instead of a X pipe. Chambered mufflers sound better with a H or a prochamber.

i already have flowmasters on, i want a prochamber but need cats.

if you do shorties make sure they are BBK tuned shorties. They seem to have the best results with no clearance issues.
