dmh electric cut outs

Anyone put these gems on your exhaust system? If so are they worth the $400.00 + bucks? Do they give you any real additional HP?

They are like running headers and no cats/mufflers/pipes to the rear. You could make your own manual cutouts for under $100, but I guess it is a preference thing.

They open before the cats or anything else on your exhaust and make the exhaust a fully free flowing exhaust...

Here is an awesome write up and example of how it all works QTP

On the dyno people saw 5-6rwhp increase and a 3rwtq drop...I think they are really nice and all but with my experience the motors on those things are short lived...I had quite a few go out on my old Notch...The heat gets to them...

Me personally I love Warlock Mufflers they are my favorite muffler on the market...They have a nice deep sound and then with 3 wing nuts you can have a free flowing exhaust...I had these on a 94 GT I had and loved them...They will be going on the 02 soon...Recommendation if you buy these mufflers...Weld a t handle to the covers of the cut-outs so that when you are at the track it makes it alot easier to take on and off...

Here is the warlock mufflers...But the cutouts are not open...

Sound Clip 1

Sound Clip 2

Neither of these sound clips are mine...Once I get my warlocks on my car I will get some sound clips up of the exhaust capped and uncapped...

Also if you want to hear what other exhaust sound like on mustangs just go to Mustang Exhaust

i hear alot of praise about the worlocks aswell even amongst the v6 crowd, also keep in mind the option of mechanical dumps, which cost much less than the electrical ones.
