High Idle

Hey everyone, I tried the iac gasket from ebay to help control my slow to return idle. Now the problem is that my car tends to like to stay at 1200 to 1400 rpm for a bit before droping back down to 750. It seems to do it with the ac on or off, it's really kinda annoying. Otherwise the iac gasket really did seam to make the rpm drop back down nicec and fast.
Anyone have any idea's????
Thanks,
Les
