what gears are you runnin w/centrifugal?
im selling the 3.90s i got up in my room, they are motives and ive heard some bad stories about them. so im looking at ford 4.10s or 3.73s. just curious what you guys with centris are running. ill only be going to the track a couple times, so its mostly a street car. leaning towards 4.10s

Ford Motorsport 4.10's. I've had both 3.73's and 4.10's in the car and 4.10's are definately the way to go.

i enjoy the 3.73 better as i dopnt have to shift nearly as fast out on the track. ive always though that the 4.10 was to much gear for the s/c cars bt a lot of people like em. just not my preference. anyways either way ya go youll be okay!

my old cobra with 4.10 would top out at about 135. i would also be in 5th gear coming cross the 1/4 line.

4th gear @ 6000 rpm w/ 4.10's on my '02 GT puts me at 115mph. 5th gear would be something like 175mph top speed. 5th gear is alittle slower for the pre '01 GT's.
Yea, the 5.0's would get alot less speed than the 4.6's, especially the later models. |

The 5th gear in the newer TR3650's (mid '01 and up) have alittle bit lower 5th gear ratio, .62 or .63 (can't remember) vs .67 in the earlier TR3650's and somewhere around there in the T-45's as well. Makes alittle difference, not much. A Fox Body 5.0 won't go that far with 4.10's though, probably around 140.
