Dyno today :(


I had my car on the dyno today and it was not good.
263.3 RWHP
That is about 330 HP on the flywheel with using a automatic.
Look at my signature to see my mods. Please tell me if you think this is right the mods that I have .

Mustang dyno?
It was on a all wheel drive dyno. I don't know what brand.

I have a feeling that you are putting down more than that...

The first time I got dynoed, it was a mustang dyno, and it came in at 218 HP! Sh!t, the dynojet came back at 235 with the same mods. After that, I vowed to never use a Mustang Dyno again.

I can't post my chart tell tommorrow. I can tell you that my that my AFR went from 13.6 at 3000rpm to 12.5 at 6200 rpm in a strieght line.

I don't know man, when I see imports on a dyno I walk away from that shop.
It looks like that dyno, being AWD, is a more "conservative" unit than the dynojet. That might be part of the results... Dyno Dynamics is a dyno/chassis system and it's more realistic than just "at the tires" power. However, your A/F could be improved and that's a power robbing problem.

it should be at 13.3


at idle and normal driving it should be in the low 14's.

In the .6 differance are we talking 1 to 2 hp or 10 to 15 hp?
Is it worth paying $200 for a dyno tune or should I wait for my cams?
Does anyone no a custom perfomance shop for Mustangs in Minnesota?

wait for your cam then dyno tune
with the cam and a good tune you should be at 290rwhp depending on the cam and if its a dyno jet

Very nice! Those numbers look a little better. The original 260 is about what your car should have made stock.

295 still sounds low with your mods, my tuner has a package that he does I believe he does

Intake
Tune
delete plates
exhaust
ud pullies
on average he gets around 315-325rwhp with those mods

yeah for those mods i say 310-320 rwhp, but it all depends on the temp. outside and the car temp., your elevation and how aggressive the tune is
