serious spark plug problem

Hi, I just bought a 98 mustang gt about a month ago. I decided to go ahead and change the sparkplugs. But thier all in holes bone tight. And I mean TIGHT!! Its actually bending the rachet to try to get them out and they haven't budged an inch. This is all the holes. Are they supposed to be in there like that? And how do I go about getting them out?
Yes I'm using a long extension 5/8 sparkplug socket. (counterclockwise.)

I know they say never to remove the plugs while the engine is warm (due to possible burns + tearing up the threads in the head + breaking something else), but if they're seized in there and you've expended every other option you might need to start it up and let it run up to operating temperature, then try getting to them and removing them. I guess by the same token if you REALLY can't get them out then take the car out for a minute and run it through its paces, then try again. The hotter temperature tends to allow the metal to expand and give more clearance for the threads to move. It also causes the threads to "soften" so be careful not to strip them or anything.
