Will eibach drag springs lower my car?

I have a set of drag springs and I am getting ready to install them. I know stock springs are 14" long and the drag spring are 15.25" long. Do I need to cut the springs to lower the car. What should I do?
Thinking of cutting it down to 13" and that is 1.5 coils. If not fox springs up front

i didn't notice it any lower though i think the rear springs are suppose to be a bit lower and the fronts higher. I wouldn't cut them because they won't be doing there job then. Just go buy the lowering springs if you want to lower the car and sell the drag springs.

Cut springs are not goodtimes...I do not recommend anyone cutting or heating the springs...It kills their purpose...Just go buy a set of sportlines...That should put you right where you want to be...

Is your car still on drag-launch set-up? And If it is , do you have pictures of it from the side.

Lowering springs

Does lowering your car help the performance or is it just a cosmetic thing that cost money

EIBACH SPRINGS

Well, I purchased my eibach springs for $240.00 out the door. All I have to do is buy the upper and lowers. Gezzzz why do I spend all this money. Could someone smack me and wake me up please.

lowering springs generally do two things. 1 they lower the car and 2 they stiffen the suspension/ride

1 by lowering the car the center of gravity is lower

2 stiffer springs makes the car have less likely to body roll (and evens out the load of braking, imo)

springs are nice but sway bars should be intalled before if better handling is waht someone wants

yeah the drag springs are softer for weight transfer! when ya get on it the weight transfers to the back to get more weight on the rear tires for better traction!

As long you don't go through corners like a mad man I don't see a problem with it. Its just like driving on the street without a front sway bar. I have been driving without one of those for a two years now.
