Magnaflow

Hey whats up, new here. I wanted to get some opinions on the Magnaflow Magnapacks. Anybody have them? Sound good, deep and loud? I am also thinking about a Magnaflow O/R X pipe to go with it. Tell me what you guys think. Thanks

I personally run Flowmaster delta 40's but I have friends who will swear by magnaflow's. It is really all about the sound you want.

I am looking for the deep, loud, turning head sound.

I personally would recommend SLP loudmouth catback. It is a very loud throaty sound that turns heads. But it can be a little pricey. Best bang for the buck would be flowmaster 40s. Magnaflow is known for more of a mellow classic hot rod sound.

Magnapacks are pretty damn loud, I ran the Magnaflows and they weren't loud enough so I went back to Flowmaster.

Magnaflows are tame, but a deep mellow tone comes from them. Magnapacks, on the other hand, are insanely loud. Flowmasters have a classic american muscle sound that isnt as deep as Magnaflow.

Deep= Magnaflow, Borla
Loud= SLP LM I/II (depending on cats or not), Flowmaster

The Borla Stingers sounded very nice with the stock mid pipe, they sounded great with a Bassani catted x, they sound insane now with Hooker long tubes and o/r x. I am seriously thinking about picking up a used Maggie catback.

If you are going to get new headers and spend the time to install, I would go ahead and get the long tubes because they will flow 25+% better with forced induction or high powered naturally aspirated setups. The more power you make, the better flowing the long tubes will be.
